The price of gold fell 0.48% this week, briefly dropping below $1900 per ounce on Thursday before recovering slightly and closing out the week at around $1927.80 per ounce.
This puts gold on track for its worst quartlery performance since September last year, and things are predicted to get worse with more interest rate hikes on the horizon.
